| Obverse description | Pink-tinted note with a dense letterpress underprint of repeated text 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE LYON' covering the entire field. At upper centre, the issuing authority and deliberation date are inscribed in bold letterpress, with the large denomination 'UN FRANC' dominating the centre. To the left, a blue intaglio vignette of a caduceus entwined with serpents and laurel, flanked to the right by an ornate interlaced 'CL' monogram within a circular frame; between them, a red circular official seal of the Chambre de Commerce de Lyon bears a lion passant. Two manuscript signatures appear below the roles 'Le Trésorier' and 'Le Président', with the series designation '9e SÉRIE' and serial numbers at lower left and right. |
