| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in blue and tan on a cream ground, framed by a decorative guilloche border with ornamental corner medallions bearing the numeral "1". The issuer's title "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE LIMOGES" appears in a cartouche at the top, above the large bold denomination "UN FRANC". In the lower portion, two architectural vignettes flank a central war memorial monument — the Grand Théâtre de Limoges to the left and the Hôtel de Ville to the right — beneath which an interlaced "CL" monogram appears within a circular device surrounded by acanthus scrollwork; three handwritten signatures occupy the centre field, attributed to the President, the Vice-President (par délégation), and the Treasurer. |
