| Obverse description | Printed in green on cream paper, the obverse is framed by a decorative foliate border with a fine guilloche outer edge. The issuing authority title 'CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE DE CAEN ET DE HONFLEUR' appears in large lettering across the upper portion within a cartouche flanked by laurel branches. Two architectural vignettes flank the central design: at left, a detailed view of the Hôtel d'Écoville in Caen, and at right, a townscape of Honfleur with its distinctive church spire. At centre, a large numeral '1' underprint is surmounted by the combined arms of Caen and Honfleur, with the denomination 'UN FRANC' inscribed below; the series letter and serial number appear at lower left and lower right respectively, accompanied by two manuscript signatures above the titles of the two Chamber presidents. |

| Reverse description | The reverse, printed entirely in green on cream paper, carries a plain foliate outer border enclosing a central cartouche with scroll and volute ornaments. Within the cartouche, three lines of letterpress text state the note's redeemability against Banque de France notes at its branches and auxiliary offices in the Calvados department. Below the cartouche, the inscription 'DEUXIÈME EMISSION' appears in large spaced capitals, with two oval cartouches bearing the dates '1915' and '1920' flanked by leaf sprays at the foot. The denomination value '1Fc' is repeated in large figures at the lower left and lower right corners. |
