| Obverse description | Printed in red and black over a blue guilloche underprint of repeated chamber name text, the note carries a bold red central vignette with an ornate interlaced design, over which the denomination UN FRANC is superimposed in large black letterpress. The issuer's name and the authorising deliberation date of 5 November 1914 are inscribed at the top, with signature lines for Le Trésorier and Le Président at lower left and right, above the exchangeability clause referencing Banque de France notes. A decorative red wave-scroll border frames the entire face. |
