| Obverse description | Printed in black and ochre on pale paper, the note carries an ornate letterpress border of fruiting branches, with four municipal coats of arms positioned at the corners and sides — Andelys at left, Bernay at right, and Louviers at the foot — all surmounted by a large armorial vignette for Évreux at the top centre flanked by laurel wreaths. The denomination 'UN FRANC' is set in bold capitals at centre, above which the issuing authority 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'ÉVREUX' is printed in large type, with a red overprinted numeral '1' serving as a secondary denomination indicator. The serial number, two facsimile signatures for the President and Treasurer, and the printer's imprint 'NANCY-PARIS-BERGER-LEVRAULT' appear in the lower portion, with a repeating 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'EVREUX' text forming the security underprint across the entire field. |

| Reverse description | Printed in dark green on pale paper, the reverse carries the same repeating 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'EVREUX' security underprint across the full field, over which a red overprinted numeral '1' appears at centre. A circular vignette at the top centre bears the seal of the Chambre de Commerce d'Évreux with the monogram 'A E B L' and the legend 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'EVREUX', flanked by guilloche rosette borders running along all four sides. Three paragraphs of redemption text occupy the centre, with the key guarantee clause in bold italic type, and small vignettes of a standing lion appear in the four corner cartouches. |
