Obverse description Rectangular token with a beaded border enclosing an oval beaded inner frame. The issuer name BULLIER arcs across the top in large raised letters, with the denomination 1 F prominently displayed in the center field, flanked by two small floral rosette devices. The legend BOULD. ST. MICHEL curves along the lower portion of the inner frame, identifying the address of the Bal Bullier dance hall on Boulevard Saint-Michel in Paris.
