| Obverse description | Salmon-red letterpress note with an ornate Moorish arch border along the top edge and arabesque corner panels. At center, the denomination UN FRANC appears in large bold type above the Arabic equivalent فرنك واحد, flanked by crescent-and-star devices; below, series number, serial number, and bilingual decree date (25 Janvier 1921 / 15 Djoumadi-el-Aoual 1339) are printed in two lines. Two seated allegorical figures occupy the lower left and right margins — a turbaned male scholar at left and a draped female figure with an amphora at right — with two manuscript signatures between them for Le Trésorier Général de Tunis and Le Directeur Général des Finances. |
