Reverse description The Commonwealth Coat of Arms of Australia occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield surmounted by the St. Edward's Crown, with the six state badges rendered in fine detail. The shield is supported on the left by a kangaroo and on the right by an emu, both standing on a decorative grassy mound amid sprigs of wattle and other native flora. A six-pointed Commonwealth Star appears to the upper left and a seven-pointed star to the upper right. The engraver's initials 'K·G' appear to the right of the emu. The denomination FLORIN arcs above and the date and country name AUSTRALIA appear in two lines below.
