| Obverse description | The obverse features three passant lions arranged in two rows within a raised inner circle, closely echoing the heraldic coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Flandrensis. The lions are rendered in high relief with fine mane and claw detail. A circular legend reading 'GRAND DUCHY OF FLANDRENSIS' runs along the upper portion of the border, while the motto 'FLANDRENSIS, DOMI, NOSTRAE' appears along the lower portion, both inscriptions separated by the inner ring.
