Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Carlo III (Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor, as Charles III of Spain) facing right, wearing a long curled wig in the late Baroque fashion. The effigy displays elaborately detailed plate armor at the shoulder. The date 1707 appears below the truncation, flanked by small ornamental stops. The circular legend reads CAROLVS·III·REX·HISPANIAR· in Roman capitals, interrupted by the bust.
