Reverse description A long voided cross pommée divides the reverse into four quadrants, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular formation. A beaded inner circle frames the central design, with the mint legend distributed across the four quarters of the field. The bold, deeply struck cross dominates the small flan, consistent with the hammered farthing format of the Calais mint during the Rosette-mascle issue. The lettering, though partially weak at the margins, follows the standard Latin formula identifying the place of minting.
