Obverse description Right-facing laureate and draped bust of King George III, executed in high relief consistent with Soho Mint proof coinage. The king's effigy is rendered in fine neoclassical style, attributed to engraver Conrad Heinrich Küchler. The encircling legend reads GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA REX, with the date 1799 positioned below the truncation of the bust. The fields exhibit the mirror-like finish characteristic of proof strikes.

Reverse description A seated allegorical figure of Britannia faces left, holding a trident in her left hand while her right arm is raised bearing an olive branch, symbolising peace. A shield bearing the Union flag rests against her left side. The legend BRITANNIA appears in the upper field, flanked by the Soho Mint attribution SOHO. The denomination 1.FARTHING. is inscribed in the exergue, separated from the central design by a beaded or linear border. The overall composition reflects the refined engraving style of the Soho Mint proof issues of 1799.
