| Obverse description | Facing crowned bust of King Edward I rendered in the medieval hammered style, depicted with schematic facial features typical of late 13th-century English coinage. The king wears a trefoil-ornamented crown, with curling hair visible to either side of the face. The bust is set within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by an uncial Latin legend reading the king's name and title. The overall design is characteristic of the Edwardian Class 3de farthing, with bold, somewhat stylized relief on an irregularly shaped flan. |

| Reverse description | A plain voided long cross extending to the coin's edge divides the reverse field into four quarters, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular pattern, a design standard to Edwardian silver coinage of this period. The cross serves both as a functional device — facilitating the cutting of the coin into halves or quarters — and as a prominent decorative element. A beaded inner circle frames the central design, with the mint legend in uncial Latin characters distributed across the four quadrants of the outer field. The reverse is well-centered relative to the small, irregular hammered flan. |
