Reverse description Five fleurs-de-lis arranged in a quincunx or row pattern across the coin field, each rendered in a stylized, slightly crude hammered technique characteristic of locally produced Pondicherry coinage. The fleurs-de-lis are displayed upright, their central petal and flanking volutes clearly delineated. The design fills the flan without any surrounding legend or border inscription, consistent with the anonymous, undated character of this issue.
