Obverse description Crude, crudely rendered standing figure of the deity Vishnu occupying the central field, depicted in a schematic and stylized manner characteristic of late Mughal-era provincial coinage. The figure is shown in a frontal pose, with attributes typical of Vishnu iconography, though the rendering is highly simplified due to the small flan and hammered technique. The design is contained within a beaded border, which is not always fully visible on account of the irregular flan.
