Obverse description Irregular square hammered copper flan bearing a central Arabic legend disposed within a plain rectangular frame. The inscription, rendered in a bold Naskh script, occupies the majority of the field and records the royal titles of Sultan Shihab ud-Din Mahmud Shah II. The field surrounding the frame is flat and unadorned, and the flan exhibits characteristic hammered irregularities with areas of green and red patination consistent with long-term burial.

Reverse description Irregular square hammered copper flan with a central Arabic legend set within a plain rectangular border, the inscription disposed across the field in bold Naskh script. The upper portion of the field contains a partial legend or formula above the framing lines. The regnal year 933 AH appears as part of the inscription, with the flat surrounding field showing the rough surface typical of hammered Malwa Sultanate copper coinage. Areas of corrosion and encrustation are visible across the flan.
