| Obverse description | Struck on an irregularly shaped copper flan, the obverse bears multiple lines of Persian-Naskh script arranged horizontally across the field, likely containing the mint name Qandahar and a formulaic religious or royal inscription. The die-struck legends are bold though somewhat off-center, characteristic of hand-hammered provincial coinage. The flat relief and worn surfaces reflect extensive circulation. The overall presentation is typical of Afghan regional copper issues of the 18th century. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays two fish arranged in a circular chase around a central star motif, a decorative device commonly found on Qandahar copper fulus of the 18th century. The fish are depicted in profile, swimming in opposite directions to form a dynamic rotational composition. This type was notably struck on folded pieces of copper with an additional piece of metal inserted inside to achieve the required weight, resulting in a thicker and irregular flan. The surrounding field may retain traces of additional inscription or ornamental devices. The strike is typically uneven, consistent with hand-hammered technique. |
