| Obverse description | Uniface hammered copper flan bearing a three-line Arabic legend in bold, cursive Naskh script occupying the entire field. The inscription reads 'Zarb / Multan / 1836' (Samvat era), denoting the mint name Multan and the regnal dating in the upper and lower registers respectively, separated by a broad horizontal stroke. The lettering is deeply struck but shows characteristic irregularity of hand-struck provincial coinage. The field is unadorned, with no border or decorative devices, and the flan edges are irregular. Patina is dark brown with areas of green cuprite consistent with prolonged circulation. |
