| Obverse description | Struck in the hammered style typical of Malwa Sultanate coinage, the obverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in two registers across the field. The legend reads 'Abu'l Muzaffar Muhammad Shah al-Sultan khallada Allah mulkahu' (May God perpetuate his reign), executed in a bold, angular hand characteristic of late Malwa calligraphic convention. The lettering fills the entire flan with minimal border ornamentation, consistent with the irregular, thick fabric of this copper falus issue. Significant patination and surface corrosion are present, partially obscuring individual letterforms. |
