Obverse description Central field bears a Persian nastaliq inscription naming the ruler Ahmad Shah Durrani, arranged within a circular border. The calligraphic legend is rendered in the fluid, cursive nastaliq style characteristic of Durrani-period coinage. The flan is irregular in shape, typical of hammered copper issues of this period. No additional decorative elements or symbols are present in the field.
