Reverse description The reverse presents a further Arabic inscription in two or three lines across an undivided field, again struck on an irregular hammered flan with a characteristically uneven rim. The legends are rendered in a bold, somewhat compressed Naskh hand, consistent with the provincial copper coinage style of the Qutb Shahi sultans of Golkonda. The surface exhibits typical patination associated with copper issues of this period, with areas of dark oxidation contrasting with the raised lettering. No mint name or regnal year appears to be legible on this face.
