| Obverse description | Heavily worn hammered copper flan bearing an Arabic inscription in the field. The legend reads 'khutima bi'l-khair wa'l-sa'ada' (meaning 'sealed with goodness and felicity'), a pious formula commonly employed on Golkonda coinage of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The lettering is arranged across the central field in the characteristic calligraphic style of the period, though considerable wear renders precise details difficult to discern. The planchet is irregular in shape, typical of hammered issues from the Hyderabad mint during the reign of Abd Allah Qutb Shah. |
