| Reverse description | The reverse presents a boldly struck Arabic legend arranged in two lines across the central field, reading 'فلوس / کابل' (Falus / Kabul), denoting the denomination and the mint of issue. The inscription is enclosed within a single or double linear border, the outer edge following the irregular flan characteristic of hammered coinage. Floral or scroll ornaments flank the legend at lower left and right, a decorative convention common to Kabul Mint issues of the period. The surface shows green cuprite patination and areas of encrustation consistent with age and circulation. |
