| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Kufic Arabic religious inscription arranged in horizontal lines within a plain inner border. The Shahada and Quranic verse (Quran 9:33) are inscribed across the field in angular script. A circular marginal legend in Arabic surrounds the central text, separated by a beaded or rope-pattern inner border. The flan is irregular and slightly off-round, characteristic of hammered Qarakhanid copper coinage. The strike is moderately clear with some weakness at the periphery. |
