| Reverse description | Central field bearing a two-part Arabic inscription arranged in multiple lines: the upper portion names the mint of issue (Tunis), while the lower portion records the AH date of striking, positioned at the bottom of the flan as is characteristic of the KM#52.2 variety. The calligraphy is boldly rendered in the fluid Maghrebi-influenced style typical of Tunisian coinage of this period. The flan is irregular and unbordered, with the inscription filling the available field without an enclosing circle or ornamental devices. |
