| Obverse description | Crude hammered copper flan bearing an Arabic-script legend in the field. The inscription, reading 'falus Muhammad Khan' (Fals of Muhammad Khan), is rendered in a somewhat irregular hand characteristic of provincial Central Asian minting practice. The surfaces show heavy green patination consistent with prolonged burial or circulation. The flan is irregular in shape with uneven edges typical of hand-struck issues from the Yarkand Khanate. |
