| Reverse description | The reverse displays a bimetallic composition with a copper-coloured central disc set within a gold-coloured outer ring. The central disc bears a finely detailed relief of a striped fish facing left, with the numeral '1' positioned above it, and the legend 'UM ESCUDO CONVERTIVEL' encircling the inner ring. The outer ring carries the inscription '2001 * 2003 * 2005 * 2006 * 2008' arranged around the upper and lateral periphery, separated by star ornaments, with the legend 'ULTIMO ESCUDO' displayed along the lower arc, also flanked by stars, commemorating the final issue of the Cabinda Escudo currency series. |

| Additional information |
Cabinda is an Angolan exclave separated from the main territory by a strip of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and its status has been contested since Portuguese colonial boundaries were drawn in the 19th century. The Front for the Liberation of the Enclave of Cabinda has waged a low-level separatist insurgency for decades. This piece — denominated as the "Ultimo Escudo," the last escudo — is a fantasy or secessionist issue with no legal tender status recognized by Angola, struck almost certainly as a collector curiosity rather than circulating currency. The X# prefix in the standard reference confirms its non-circulation classification.
