Reverse description The quartered shield of the Spanish Royal Arms, displaying castles and lions in alternate quarters with the Granada pomegranate in base and the Bourbon fleurs-de-lis on an escutcheon overall, surmounted by the Spanish royal crown. The denomination numeral 1 appears to the left of the shield and the assayer initials JP appear at the base, flanking the Lima mint mark (monogram). The circular legend reads FELIX AUSPICIO REGIA CORONA and is bordered by a reeded rim.
