Obverse description Armored bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, wearing a military uniform with epaulette and decorations visible at the shoulder and collar. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the neoclassical colonial style. The circular legend reads FERDIN. VII D. G. HISP. ET IND. R., divided by the portrait, with the date appearing in the lower field beneath the bust. The legend is set in Latin characters along the toothed border.
