Obverse description Armored bust of King Fernando VI facing right, rendered in the portrait style characteristic of mid-18th century Spanish colonial milled coinage. The effigy is truncated at the shoulder and occupies the central field. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, with the date appearing at the bottom of the coin. The design follows the standard 'busto' type introduced for Fernando VI at the Mexico City Mint.
