Reverse description Central device consists of a stylized Jerusalem cross formed by four Cs back-to-back in cruciform arrangement, enclosed within a double-beaded inner circle, evoking the dynastic symbol of the Spanish Habsburgs. The date 1700 appears in the upper field, while the circumferential Latin legend HISPANIARVM · REX · reads around the periphery, divided by the central motif. The milled edge border is clearly visible, consistent with the roller-milled production technique employed at the Seville Mint.
