Additional information

The WAMZ Eco is a proposed single currency for the West African Monetary Zone — a bloc within ECOWAS comprising anglophone and some other non-CFA member states — that has missed every target launch date since the project began in 2000. This 2020-dated piece was struck well before any actual monetary union materialized; the currency remains unlaunched as of this writing, making these coins purely promotional or pattern issues with no circulation history whatsoever.
