Obverse description Within a plain field, three lines of raised Latin legend read DUYT / IAVAS / 1764, with a small decorative stop above the first line. The lettering is bold and sans-serif in style, centrally arranged and occupying the full face of the coin. No effigy or additional device is present; the denomination and place of issue serve as the sole design elements. The date appears in the exergual position below the place-name inscription.

Reverse description The reverse bears a three-line Jawi (Arabic-script) inscription within a plain field, reading the denomination and place of issue in Malay. The legend دويت جاو and the numerical date ١٧٦٤ are arranged centrally across the flan, mirroring the bilingual nature of the issue for circulation among the local Javanese population. The script is rendered in a bold, somewhat archaic hand consistent with mid-eighteenth century colonial Jawi usage. No additional devices, borders, or decorative elements are present.
