Obverse description Quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of West Friesland — two rampant lions passant gardant arranged in two rows on a divided field — surmounted by a provincial mural crown. The shield is flanked on both sides by symmetrical laurel sprigs, their stems crossing beneath the base of the escutcheon. No legend or inscription appears in the field, giving the design an entirely armorial character.

Reverse description Identical die to the obverse: the quartered provincial arms of West Friesland, displaying two rows of rampant lions passant gardant within a pointed escutcheon, surmounted by the characteristic mural crown of the province. The shield is enclosed within symmetrical laurel sprigs whose stems cross below the base of the shield. This brockage-type hybrid piece presents the same reverse die on both faces, with no date or mint mark visible.
