| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of Archduke Albert and Archduchess Isabella facing right, both draped, with the mint mark dividing the date above the effigies. The legend encircles the busts within a beaded border, identifying the rulers by name and invoking divine grace. The portraits are rendered in the bold relief characteristic of early seventeenth-century Southern Netherlandish hammered coinage. The date elements flank the mint mark at the top of the field. |

| Reverse description | A richly quartered heraldic shield bearing the combined arms of Austria, Burgundy, Brabant, and the associated territories, surmounted by an imperial crown. Two rampant lions serve as supporters on either side of the shield, each rendered with flowing manes and prominent claws grasping the escutcheon. A small decorative ornament or order badge hangs below the base of the shield. The circumferential legend, reading within a beaded border, records the full abbreviated titulature of the rulers as Archdukes of Austria, Dukes of Burgundy and Brabant, and related dominions. |
