Reverse description The crowned arms of the States General of the United Provinces occupy the centre of the reverse, flanked by two crowned rampant lion supporters. Below the shield, within an ornate cartouche, appears the VOC monogram — the cipher of the Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie. The surrounding legend CONCORDIA - RES PARVAE - CRESCUNT encircles the design, with the date appearing in the lower portion of the legend.
