| Reverse description | Ornate quartered coat of arms of the Prince-Bishopric of Trento displayed on an oval cartouche, surmounted by a princely crown with flanking decorative mantling and tasselled cords. The shield is divided into multiple quarters incorporating heraldic charges including an eagle, a lion, and diagonal banding, reflecting the complex territorial claims of the see. The date 1776 appears vertically on the left side of the field, while the legend ELECTUS DIE XXIX MAII 1776 is distributed around the periphery, commemorating Pietro Vigilio's election as Prince-Bishop on 29 May 1776. The entire composition is executed in deeply engraved relief consistent with high-quality ducal coinage of the period. |
