| Obverse description | Saint Mark, patron of Venice, is depicted seated at left, extending a staff surmounted by a cross and pennant toward the kneeling Doge Lodovico Manin at right in a traditional investiture scene. The composition reflects the ceremonial relationship between divine authority and the Venetian dogate. The legend encircles the scene, identifying the doge by name and title in Roman lettering. Mintmaster's initials appear in the exergue below the figures. |

| Reverse description | The Lion of Saint Mark strides to left in passant guardant pose, its head turned to face the viewer with a commanding gaze. The lion's left forepaw rests upon an open book, the traditional symbol of the Gospel of Saint Mark. Above the lion, a castle atop a hill appears in the upper field, serving as an additional heraldic device. The encircling legend DVCATVS·VENETVS identifies the denomination and issuing state in classical Latin lettering. |
