Obverse description Central cross crosslet bearing a small cross at its centre, with croziers or clefs disposed in each quarter of the field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded (pearled) circle. A Cyrillic marginal legend runs along the outer periphery, invoking the name of the ruling prince Vladislav I in a formulaic titulature typical of Wallachian medieval coinage.
