Obverse description Detailed architectural view of the Holy Trinity Church (Dreifaltigkeitskirche) in Regensburg occupying the central field, rendered with fine engraved detail showing the steeple, pitched roof, and facade. Above the church, a winged angel in flight bears the shielded arms of the city of Regensburg. The date in Roman numerals MDCXXVII appears in the lower exergue below the church. The entire design is framed by a beaded border.

Reverse description Six-line commemorative inscription in German across the full field, recording the laying of the foundation stone of the Holy Trinity Church on 4 July 1627. The text is arranged in evenly spaced horizontal lines, flanked by decorative star or rosette stops. The legend reads that on 4 July the first stone of the Church of the Holy Trinity was laid. A beaded border surrounds the entire reverse.
