The saint holds a flowering or leafy staff in his left hand for support. The figures are rendered in the robust Renaissance style typical of Bohemian goldsmith work of the late sixteenth century. A Latin legend surrounds the central design, with the date incorporated into the inscription. The border is defined by a row of beading. |
