Obverse description Draped bust of Leopold Victor Johann, Count of Windisch-Grätz, facing right, with long flowing curled hair in the baroque style. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the drapery at the shoulder. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading continuously around the coin's periphery. The field is smooth and the coin is struck on a well-prepared flan characteristic of high-quality ducat coinage of the period.

Reverse description Elaborate baroque coat of arms of the Windisch-Grätz family, centrally placed and surmounted by three ornate crowned helmets with decorative mantling. Two wolfhound supporters flank the shield on either side, rearing upright. The date appears within the legend surrounding the design. The entire composition is richly detailed in the baroque heraldic tradition, with the reverse legend recording the Count's offices and titles in abbreviated Latin.
