Obverse description Laureate and armored bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, depicted with a long flowing wig in the elaborate late Baroque style, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The imperial titulature is rendered in Latin capitals around the circumference, reading LEOPOLDVS D G ROM IMPER S A. The portrait displays fine engraving detail characteristic of late 17th-century Bohemian mint work.

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed with wings spread, bearing on its breast a crowned flat-topped shield depicting the lion passant of Bohemia, the whole encircled by the collar and pendant of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin legend arranged around the periphery. The date 1694 appears at the end of the legend, divided by the imperial crown above, while the Prague mintmark M.V is placed at the base.
