Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, with long flowing hair and armored shoulders, occupying the central field. The effigy is rendered in a high-relief baroque style characteristic of the Breslau mint's mid-17th century coinage. A circular beaded border frames the design. The peripheral legend reads LEOPOLDVS D G R I S A G H B REX, abbreviating his full imperial and royal titles, separated by dot stops.
