Obverse description Draped bust of Karl X Gustav facing right, depicted with long flowing hair falling to the shoulder, wearing armor with ornate detailing. The effigy is rendered in a bold, high-relief baroque style characteristic of mid-17th century Swedish coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait. The circular Latin legend reads CAROLUS.GUSTAF·X·D:G:SVE:GO:VA:REX, identifying the king by name and title as ruler of the Swedes, Goths, and Wends.

Reverse description Crowned quartered coat of arms of Sweden, featuring the three crowns of Sweden and the lion of the Folkung dynasty in alternating quarters, with a central escutcheon bearing the Palatinate lion of the House of Wittelsbach. The crowned shield is elaborately ornamented with baroque mantling and flanked by decorative elements. The date is divided and appears within the field. The surrounding Latin legend reads IN·IEHOVA·SORS·MEA·IPSE·FACIET, translating as 'In Jehovah is my lot, He will accomplish it.' A beaded border runs along the coin's periphery.
