Reverse description The rampant Bohemian lion, facing left with a bifurcated tail, is depicted within a beaded inner circle occupying nearly the entire field. The lion is rendered in the vigorous, heavily detailed hammered style typical of mid-16th century Bohemian coinage. The surrounding Latin legend encircles the design, with the date 1546 appearing at the conclusion of the inscription.
