| Obverse description | Draped bust of Count Henry Ernest II facing right, with long flowing hair tied at the nape with a ribbon bow, rendered in high relief in the late Baroque manner. The truncation is sharply cut, and the portrait is set within a wide, flat field. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading continuously around the full periphery of the coin. The coin features a prominent milled or grained edge border visible at the rim. |
