Reverse description Quartered royal arms of Sweden surmounted by a large royal crown, the shield displaying the three crowns of Sweden, the lion of Folkung, and additional heraldic charges within a composite escutcheon. The date 1631 appears prominently above the crowned shield at the top of the field. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design within a beaded border, identifying this as the new ducat of the King of Sweden.
