Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of King Frederik III facing right, wearing a laurel wreath adorned with flowing foliage and a cuirass with ornamental shoulder armor. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair falling to the shoulder. The Latin royal legend encircles the bust along the periphery, punctuated by interpuncts between abbreviated titles. A small decorative floral or foliate ornament appears at the base of the bust truncation.

Reverse description Central device depicting the crowned lion of Norway passant within an ornate wreath or circular beaded cartouche, surmounted by an elaborate royal crown rendered in high relief. Flanking the central cartouche are the mint master's initials and the date 1669 displayed in the lower field, with the letters F and G appearing as mint or engraver marks on either side. The circumferential Latin motto legend reads around the entire border, separated by a small decorative stop at the commencement.
