Reverse description The elaborately detailed crowned Royal Prussian coat of arms occupies the central field, consisting of a quartered shield bearing the various heraldic charges of the Hohenzollern dynasty, supported on either side and surmounted by a royal crown. The date 1717 is divided by the shield, with numerals appearing to the left and right in the field. The mintmaster's initials CG appear in the exergue below the shield, identifying the responsible mint official.
